Born in Jonesboro,
Arkansas, John Pasmore has had a lifelong fascination with
earthquakes, the New Madrid area, and seismology.A producer for local television for many years. John launched Pasmore Video Works in 1985 to produce quality local and regional programming. His company created "Country Now", one of the first country music video programs in the country.
Three years ago, John realized there was simply not enough information available about this potentially devastating earthquake zone and decided to do something about it. Entirely self-funded The New Madrid Seismic Zone, Mid-America’s Ticking Time Bomb is his first documentary.
The documentary was presented at the Ozark Foothills Film Festival where was previewed by a supportive and appreciative audience.
